Their defense stepped up to hand the Pacific Pirates a 2-0 shutout. Give the Vikings' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Pacific, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-3-1.
