Volleyball Recap: Preston Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Preston, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Morgantown Christian Academy Mustangs 3-2.

Preston had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 19-25, 26-24, 25-23, 15-9.

Preston has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-26-1 record this season. As for Morgantown Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 14 matches and leaves them with a 22-2 record.

Looking ahead, Preston will head out on the road to square off against Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morgantown Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
