Laguna Beach posted their closest victory since December 17, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past the Savanna Rebels 42-39. This was payback for the Breakers, who suffered a 46-29 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Laguna Beach found their leader in sophomore Fiona McCormick, who posted 14 points. Lakelyn Welch was another key player, putting up nine points.

Laguna Beach has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Savanna, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Laguna Beach and Dana Hills will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Savanna, they are taking a road trip to face off against Costa Mesa at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
