Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mt. Zion couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 10-0 to the Lake Oconee Academy Titans on Wednesday. Mt. Zion have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Mt. Zion's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Lake Oconee Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Mt. Zion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they will be playing at home against Dooly County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Oconee Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Dooly County have averaged an impressive 4.6 goals per game this season.
