Soccer Recap: Leuzinger Takes a Loss

If Leuzinger was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Centennial on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Leuzinger Olympians lost 8-0 to the Culver City Centaurs on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Olympians in their matchups with the Centaurs: they've now lost five in a row.

Leuzinger's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-4. As for Culver City, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leuzinger will welcome North at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Culver City, they will host Beverly Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Culver City knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Beverly Hills likes a good challenge.
