Baseball Recap: Surrey Takes a Loss

Surrey lost against Des Lacs-Burlington back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs lost 13-2 to the Lakers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered against the Lakers since May 12, 2017.

Surrey has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Des Lacs-Burlington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Surrey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Des Lacs-Burlington, they will welcome Velva/Drake/Anamoose at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lakers 2.9, the Aggies 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
