There's no place like home for South Winneshiek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Clayton-Ridge Eagles on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

South Winneshiek pushed their record up to 16-17 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Clayton-Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
