Football Recap: Albany's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Albany was feeling good fresh off their 43-16 takedown of Melrose last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pierz Pioneers on Friday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Huskies couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, Albany fell to 3-1. As for Pierz, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Albany is set to square off against their familiar foe Milaca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pierz will take on rival Little Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
