While Piedmont's win against Norman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats skirted past the Tigers 7-5. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Piedmont's win bumped their record up to 25-12. As for Norman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Piedmont has already played their next game, a 16-3 defeat against Moore on the 9th. Norman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
