Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pueblo West + How To Watch

Pueblo West had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Rampart Rams get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in September.

Kassidy Donley was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abbi Bay, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Peyton Kuhn was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Pueblo West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .591. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Pueblo West's record now sits at 13-6. As for Rampart, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pueblo West will face off against Vista Ridge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cyclones will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for Rampart, they will square off against Pueblo Centennial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
