Softball Recap: Portal Has No Trouble Against Mcintosh County Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Metter, Portal was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Portal's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for McIntosh County Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portal will host Dublin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McIntosh County Academy, they will take on Jenkins County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The War Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Buccaneers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
