Soccer Recap: Winthrop's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Winthrop lost against Beverly back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings lost 8-0 to the Panthers. The loss put an end to Winthrop's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Winthrop fell to 2-1. As for Beverly, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Winthrop will take on Swampscott at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Beverly, they will be playing at home against Masconomet Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
