South Fayette had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 67-32 win over the Mars Fightin' Planets. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 contests by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Mars lost, don't look at Alexis Cashdollar. Despite the final result, she posted nine points and eight rebounds.

The victory was the 16th in a row for South Fayette, bringing their record for this year to 24-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.4 points. As for Mars, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Looking ahead, South Fayette will take on Peters Township on Friday. One thing working in South Fayette's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. Mars does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
