Basketball Recap: Willows Comes Up Short

Willows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Colusa RedHawks on the road by a 47-29 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the RedHawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-28 back in January.

It was another big night for Peyton Miller, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 17 boards for Colusa. What's more, Miller posted four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Abby Coronado, who put up eight points and seven rebounds.

Willows' loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Colusa, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willows is set to square off against their familiar foe Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Colusa will face off against rival Winters at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
