Alhambra is 9-0-1 against San Gabriel since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Alhambra Moors will challenge the San Gabriel Matadors at 5:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Alhambra will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Schurr, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. Alhambra never let Schurr onto the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday. The result kept the Moors happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 12, 2024.

Despite a strong season so far, San Gabriel has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 3-1 to Mark Keppel on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Matadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the Aztecs are ranked 200th).

San Gabriel's goal came courtesy of Niyah Davis, who's now up to 20 this season.

Alhambra pushed their record up to 6-4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for San Gabriel, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-2.

Alhambra took their win against San Gabriel in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. Will Alhambra repeat their success, or does San Gabriel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
