Softball Recap: Oskaloosa Comes Up Short

Oskaloosa fell victim to Norwalk and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on June 6th.

This is the second loss in a row for Oskaloosa and nudges their season record down to 9-16. As for Norwalk, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Oskaloosa has already played their next game (against Davis County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Norwalk, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Indianola on the 25th.
