Mannford got themselves on the board against Berryhill on Tuesday, but Berryhill never followed suit. They blew past the Chiefs 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Mannford and bumps their season record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Berryhill, they dropped their record down to 5-21 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mannford will face off against rival North Rock Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pirates 1.9, the Cougars 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Berryhill is set to challenge their familiar foe Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
