Soccer Game Preview: Lanier vs. Providence Christian Academy

The Lanier Longhorns will take on the Providence Christian Academy Storm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lanier fell victim to Dacula and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Longhorns' first of the season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Providence Christian Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Prince Avenue Christian on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wolverines as they made off with a 10-1 win. Alex Egan was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Providence Christian Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three matchups. As for Lanier, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.
