Burroughs is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 58-48 victory over Pioneer.

Meanwhile, Rolling Hills Prep earned a 55-45 win over Sonora on Wednesday.

Burroughs' victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points over those games. As for Rolling Hills Prep, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

Burroughs took a serious blow against Rolling Hills Prep in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, falling 62-26. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Burroughs was down 49-10.
