Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

If Washington was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Moreau Catholic last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Washington Huskies came up short against the James Logan Colts on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Huskies haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Washington has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season. As for James Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington has already played their next contest (against Newark Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. James Logan will be playing at home against Irvington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
