Glendale is 10-0 against Muir since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Glendale Nitros will head out on the road to face off against the Muir Mustangs at 5:15 p.m. Glendale is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Glendale is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Burbank on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Glendale lost 49-28 to Burbank. The game marked the Nitros' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Muir was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 42-38 to Hoover.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Muir, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Glendale beat Muir 54-43 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glendale since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
