Flint River Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.46 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They walked away with a 14-10 win over the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Hunter Pike and J. Stanton Pritchard did most of the damage at the plate: Pike scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Pritchard scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Sullivan Jones, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Flint River Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Harvester Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.

Looking ahead, Flint River Academy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Heritage Preparatory at 5:00 p.m. As for Harvester Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Hearts Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
