Volleyball Recap: Hallie Burroughs Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Fort Collins

Windsor had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Fort Collins on Tuesday. The Wizards blew past the Lambkins 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wizards also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Windsor was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9, 25-21.

Windsor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hallie Burroughs out in front who had five digs and two aces. What's more, Burroughs racked up 17 assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. Another player making a difference was Jasmine White, who had four digs and three aces.

Windsor's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Fort Collins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
