Washington has gone 10-0 against Irvington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Washington Huskies will head out to challenge the Irvington Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Washington's offense. They came up short against Newark Memorial on Thursday, falling 4-0. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Irvington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 14-0 to James Logan. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1140th, while the Colts are ranked 361st).

Irvington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Washington, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.

Everything went Washington's way against Irvington in their previous matchup back in January, as Washington made off with a 9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Washington since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
