Softball Recap: Thomson Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Thomson proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 17) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Burke County Bears, sneaking past 12-11. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Thomson's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Burke County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 10-10.

Thomson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
