Volleyball Recap: Wagner Comes Up Short

Wagner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Marion Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbirds of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Wagner will square off against Tivy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Long Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
