Mediapolis had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They never let the Highland Huskies get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Mediapolis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by five goals or more this season.

Mediapolis' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Mediapolis and Highland will both be playing WACO the next time they take the pitch. The Huskies will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
