            Softball Recap: Erie Tigers vs. Legacy Lightning        
        
		
        
        
            After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Erie finally came back down to earth  on Thursday. They came up short against  the Legacy Lightning, falling  12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Tigers have suffered  since October 4, 2024.
 Erie saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aaliyah Carter, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  stolen base.  Molly Young was another,  going 2-for-3 with one  run.
Erie's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Legacy, their  win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6.
 Erie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  an  11-0  victory against Northfield on the 12th. As for Legacy, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  15-4  loss against Rock Canyon on the 13th.
