Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grain Valley). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Raytown Bluejays a 15-0 shutout on Monday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 11 runs or more this season.

Grain Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Raytown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Grain Valley will head out to take on Fort Osage at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raytown, they will venture away from home to face off against Ruskin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
