Isabelle Oltmans gave up the fewest hits she has over her last four games on Friday. She turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Even though Oltmans couldn't lead Crete over Norris, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Oltmans' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cardinals' three-game streak of wins on the road.
