Soccer Recap: Schurr Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Schurr was not quite Alhambra's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Alhambra Moors by a score of 1-0. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Schurr's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Alhambra, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schurr will head out to face off against Montebello at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Schurr is facing Montebello at the right time seeing as Montebello is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Alhambra has already played their next match (against San Gabriel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
