Soccer Game Preview: Aragon vs. Sequoia

Aragon hasn't had much luck against Sequoia recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Aragon Dons will be playing at home against the Sequoia Ravens at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Aragon is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Woodside on Tuesday. Aragon and Woodside finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Aragon's goal came courtesy of Emi Lo, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Sequoia kept a clean sheet against Hillsdale on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the FIGHTING KNIGHTS out 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Ravens were the better team in the second half.

Sequoia's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6-2. Aragon's draw gives them a new season record of 6-2-1.

Aragon came up short against Sequoia in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Aragon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
