Hayden extended their postseason success on Saturday against Desert Heights Prep. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Coyotes. The victory was nothing new for the Lobos as they're now sitting on five straight.
Kino Lorona made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Tyler Garner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Hayden's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Desert Heights Prep, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-5.
