Softball Recap: McAlester Comes Up Short

Ada hit McAlester with a ten-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buffaloes came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-2. The Buffaloes have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

McAlester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ada, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8-2 record this season.

McAlester will head out to face off against Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ada, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Comanche at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
