Basketball Recap: North Paulding Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Paulding can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 44-43 to the Carrollton Trojans.

North Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 26-3. As for Carrollton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

North Paulding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrollton, they will challenge North Forsyth on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Forsyth comes in on 29 and Carrollton on five.
