Softball Recap: Dickson Comes Up Short

Dickson suffered their closest defeat since August 16th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Blanchard Lions by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Dickson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Blanchard, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Dickson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Duncan on the 4th. As for Blanchard, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Plainview on the 5th.
