Northgate entered their tilt with McIntosh on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Chiefs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Northgate's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for McIntosh, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-11.

Northgate will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chiefs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
