Citizens Christian Academy got themselves on the board against First Preparatory Christian Academy on Tuesday, but First Preparatory Christian Academy never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Patriots have won 13 games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gracie Giddens made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in September. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with four RBI and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Citizens Christian Academy let Klair Mercer and Mattie Lewis run wild. Mercer got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs, while Lewis got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those three runs gave Mercer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadence Cravey, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Citizens Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for First Preparatory Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18.
