Football Recap: Bennett Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Bennett's offense. They took a blow against the Decatur Seahawks on Friday, falling 38-0. The Clippers haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Leading Decatur to victory were Kyle Mumford and Johnny Hobgood. Mumford rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while Hobgood threw for 123 yards and one TD.

Bennett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Decatur, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Bennett will square off against Queen Anne's County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Decatur, they will face off against Easton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Seahawks 14.8, the Warriors 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
