Football Recap: Draughn Takes a Loss

Draughn fell victim to Chase and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 62-0. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chase's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Darin Tipton, who threw for 315 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Tipton a new career-high in passer rating (132.6). Jontae Wingo also helped out as he racked up 100 rushing yards.

Draughn's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chase, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.
