Basketball Recap: Workman Takes a Loss

If Workman was feeling good fresh off their 48-7 takedown of Pomona last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lobos were beaten by the Edgewood Lions 49-22 on Wednesday. The Lobos have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Workman's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Edgewood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Workman will square off against rival Ganesha at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Edgewood is set to challenge their familiar foe Bassett at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
