Football Recap: North Reading's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Essex Tech last Friday, North Reading came back down to earth. The Hornets fell just short of the Amesbury Redhawks by a score of 30-28 on Friday. The game marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Reading fell to 5-1. As for Amesbury, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.
