Softball Game Preview: Northwest Webster Cougars vs. Greene County Rams

Northwest Webster is 0-3 against Greene County since June of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cougars will head out to take on the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Northwest Webster earned a 10-5 victory over Alta-Aurelia.

Meanwhile, Greene County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against the Norsemen by a score of 8-3.

Northwest Webster's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Greene County, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Northwest Webster might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Greene County in their previous meeting back in June of 2023. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
