Soccer Recap: Jasper County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jones County last Thursday, Jasper County came back down to earth. The Jasper County Hurricanes fell 4-2 to the Putnam County War Eagles on Tuesday. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the War Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Juan Garcia Saldana and Alex Bautista scored both of Jasper County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Jasper County's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Putnam County, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Jasper County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Social Circle on the 28th. As for Putnam County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-3 defeat against Lamar County on the 28th.
