Volleyball Game Preview: Magdalena Steers vs. Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls

The Magdalena Steers will square off against the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Magdalena made easy work of Animas and carried off a 3-0 win.

Magdalena never let Animas on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Oak Grove Classical Academy entered their tilt with Socorro on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oak Grove Classical Academy took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 25-8.

Oak Grove Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Magdalena, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
