Unity Christian and Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Unity Christian is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Sacred Heart-Griffin just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Cyclones by a score of 2-1. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cyclones 25-19 in the first set.

Unity Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hawks.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12.

Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their win bumped their record up to 23-9.
