Volleyball Recap: Del Lago Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Del Lago Academy dropped down to 12-9-1 on Monday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Foothills Christian Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

As for Foothills Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3rd (when they won 3-0).

Foothills Christian found their leader in sophomore Olivia Morr, who had 28 assists and nine digs. Morr has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Del Lago Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against St. Joseph Academy on the 14th. As for Foothills Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Classical Academy on the 16th.
