The Del Lago Academy Firebirds volleyball squad (Escondido, CA), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA)

With the win, Foothills Christian improves its record to 21-11 on the season. The Knights travel to Classical Academy (Escondido, CA) to encounter the Caimans in a Pacific battle on Thursday, October 16. The Caimans enter the challenge with a record of 25-7. Classical Academy won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA)

Next, the Firebirds meet the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders (San Marcos, CA) in a Pacific challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Del Lago Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Classical Academy (Escondido, CA).
