California High School Volleyball - Rock Academy Del Lago Academy

October 9, 2025: San Diego, CA 92106

Del Lago Academy Firebirds (Escondido, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Rock Academy Warriors (San Diego, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Del Lago Academy upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA) to meet the Knights in a Pacific challenge on Monday, October 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 16-9. Foothills Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA)

Next, the Warriors meet the Escondido Charter Tigers (Escondido, CA) in a Pacific challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Rock Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record.
