Basketball Recap: Chambersburg Comes Up Short

Chambersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 48-40 to the Carlisle Thundering Herd. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-45 back in January.

Chambersburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Carlisle, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

Chambersburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Shalom Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carlisle, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
